Rudolf Huber,
a German computer scientist, in the early 90s affiliated with the Technical University of Munich, where he worked with Jürgen Schmidhuber on artificial neural networks. As computer chess programmer, Rudolf Huber is author of the chess program SOS and its parallel version ParSOS which are actually MTD(f) searchers. In 2000, along with Stefan Meyer-Kahlen, Rudolf Huber designed and created the UCI protocol 1.
