Nejmet,
a Chess Engine Communication Protocol and UCI compatible chess engine by Jean-Christophe Gabillard. Nemjet's development started in 1997, it performs the ABDADA parallel search algorithm, is able to learn avoiding bad lines from its opening book, and can probe Nalimov Tablebases 1. Nejmet played the FCCC 1998, the FCCC 1999 and Massy 2000, and is Arena partner engine 2.

Etymology
Nejmet's name is dedicated to the Soviet chess player, chess writer, and checkers player Rachid Nejmetdinov, who was a strong positional player 3. A further epynom is Queen Nejmet from Ancient Egypt. A page of her papyrus (Nodjmet's Book of the Dead) illustrates the final stage of the Pharaoh's journey in the Duat 4 5.
