Junichi Hashimoto,
a Japanese computer scientist at KDDI R&D, Ph.D. in 2011 from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) 1 2. He was member of Hiroyuki Iida's games laboratory 3, and is co-author of Tacos, the four times Gold medal winner at Computer Olympiads 4, the Connect6 program NOMI6, and the Go playing program Nomitan, an UCT based original program using an evaluation function optimized to game records of professional players.
