Jim Parry,
a Canadian computer scientist and early computer chess programmer when he was undergraduate student at University of Waterloo in the mid 70s. Along with Ron Hansen, Russell Crook, and Gary Calnek 1, he was co-author of the successful mainframe program Ribbit 2, competing the WCCC 1974 and winner of the ACM 1974.
