Jaap (J.J.) van Oosterwijk Bruyn (February 01, 1924 - July 2003),
was a Dutch mathematician, actuarial scientist, and gerontologists. He was a master chess player 1 , and in the 80s the first chairman of the Dutch Computer Chess Federation, as well of the 5th Advances in Computer Chess Comference 2. He also wrote various reports on tournaments and matches in Computerschaak 3 .
