Gerlach van Beinum,
a Dutch computer scientist and former computer chess programmer. While affiliated with Delft Institute of Technology in the early 80s, he was member of the Pion team along with Sito Dekker, Roger Hünen, Jan Derksen, Harry Nefkens and Jaap van den Herik 1.
