Bruce Wilsey Suter,
an American mathematician, computer scientist, electrical engineer, and professor at Air Force Research Laboratory (Rome Laboratory), Rome, NY. His research interests include signal and image processing along with applications of compressive sensing and Fast Fourier transform. Bruce W. Suter received a M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and Ph.D. in computer science from University of South Florida in 1972 and 1988 respectively, held visiting appointments at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has also been with Honeywell, Inc., Litton Industries, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was Robert Hyatt's Ph.D. advisor on parallel search 1 , and further co-authored with Hyatt and Harry Nelson on that topic 2.
