BreakThrough,
a chess program by Werner Koch, which participated at three World Microcomputer Chess Championships, the WMCCC 1993 in Munich running on a SPARC processor, the WMCCC 1995 in Paderborn and the WMCCC 1996 in Jakarta 1, as well as various International Paderborn Computer Chess Championships. In its evaluation, BreakThrough considers rather complex tactical motives, such as overloaded pieces.
