Computer Chess

As computer chess programmer Bill, Jordan is author of various chess tools and the WinBoard compliant chess engines Bills Bare Bones Chess 2 aka Basic-Chess, and Awesome 3. His program Chess Memory was inspired by Adriaan de Groot's cognitive experiments. One has to memorize positions from a series displayed for 10 seconds each to receive a percent score 4 . More recently, Bill Jordan published the didactic open source chess programs Bitboard-Chess and JavaScript-Chess on GitHub 5, along with his books and e-Books explaining the programs.
