what capncap is
capncap is a multi-stream screen recording app for macOS. record your screen and camera as separate streams, upload to the cloud, and share with customizable viewer layouts.
who can use it
you must be at least 18 years old.
you must read and agree to our privacy policy.
you're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account.
you cannot use capncap if you reside in: russian federation, belarus, cuba, north korea, iran.
acceptable use
don't:
- upload illegal content (piracy, malware, abuse material, phishing, scams).
- record or share content without proper consent.
- abuse the service (spam, DOS attacks, unauthorized access).
- use capncap to break the laws of the State of Delaware in the USA.
we can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
content and intellectual property
you own all content you record and upload.
by sharing recordings you give us permission to host and deliver them to your viewers.
you are responsible for your content and any legal issues.
we can remove content that violates these terms or applicable laws.
service availability
we provide capncap "as is" without warranties.
we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. we'll do our best to keep things running smoothly.
we can modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
liability
we're not liable for:
- content you record or share.
- data loss or service interruptions.
- indirect damages or lost profits.
you agree to indemnify and hold harmless capncap and System Operator LLC from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of capncap.
termination
you can close your account anytime from settings.
we can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
we reserve the right to close your account at any time for any reason.
upon termination your recordings will be deleted and your data will be handled per our privacy policy.
changes to terms
we may update these terms. we'll email active users about significant changes.
continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
governing law
these terms are governed by Delaware law, USA.
disputes will be resolved in Delaware courts.
