Find a standalone media player for the av setup

Description
Currently there's just a CD player in the lounge but we should have something that can play more things. Preferably at least blurays and have HDMI output (sorry Wii). I think a ps3 would be a good candidate for hackery.
Alternatively, we could attach a bluray drive to the shibari pc.
