perhaps i should explain why i believe, clear as day, that this dog bed must be intended for humans.
it was about two-and-a-half years ago. my apartment's heating wasn't working due to the fact that a plastic tupperware box had been melt-fused to the heating vent, and two sets of air mattresses had punctured in the cold. it was getting close to midnight. no mattress stores were open. my parents were out of ideas. but i had a plan, because i had seen some beds for sale at the top of the aisles in the university village safeway.
so i went there, and, with the help of a store employee, procured the beds off of the top of the aisle. i sent a picture to my parents to declare victory.
"that," my mom said,
"is a dog bed."
so i bought them!
so, with that said, here's my review of standard dog beds for human use:
they did the job for the first few nights. i tired quickly of them, and they kept putting pressure at night on the same areas (my neck and back). by two months in, the dog beds were proving to be a problem of their own, and i scrambled to get a proper spring mattress, eager to avert a similar nighttime mattress search.
that said, i am told that dog-style beds intended for humans are much more comfortable. unfortunately, we can't buy one at the university village safeway, because it's been demolished.
