Help my friend get surgery!

My friend Ibrahim needs surgery for his eye. However, he needs help to afford it, as medical care is very expensive in Ghazzah due to the blockade and ongoing genocide.

What’s more, Ibrahim is also struggling to get medicine and treatment for his severe ocd, and caring for his elderly mother. All of this is made harder by how tumblr has unfairly deleted his account, making it hard for him to raise funds. Donations have been extremely slow, making it so Ibrahim can’t get the treatments he needs.

Please share and donate, help Ibrahim get the surgery he needs, as well as basic necessities for himself and his mother! Anything you can do makes a difference!

My dear friend Ibrahim Aburakhia lives in Ghazzah. He’s been living through years of genocide. He’s lost his home, and has had friends and family members martyred by the IOF’s violence.

Ibrahim has severe OCD, which is worsened by the extremely stressful and traumatizing experience of living in a warzone. He needs regular medication, but there is limited supply of it in Ghazzah right now, and it is extremely expensive and difficult for him to get. Along with this, his family includes his elderly mother who has multiple health issues that need treatment, and his young orphaned nephew, who lost his father and brothers to starvation. They all need help to afford basic needs like food, water, shelter, and medical treatment.

Ibrahim has worked to raise funds to provide for himself and his family, but tumblr has repeatedly deleted his accounts without reason or warning, making it hard for him to get his campaign seen by anyone who could potentially help. He needs help to share his campaign so that he can raise the funds needed for him and his loved ones to survive. 

Please, help Ibrahim and his family. They’ve been through so much fear and grief and pain. If you can do anything to help bring them relief, even if its just sharing their campaign with someone, or donating a small amount, it makes a meaningful difference.

That’s how long it has been since Ibrahim has seen his sister.

My friend Ibrahim Aburakhia @aburakhiaibrahim and most of his family are in Ghazzah, where they have spent the last two years suffering from hunger, pain, and fear. However, they have a chance to escape the genocide after Ibrahim’s sister, who lives in Canada, applied and was accepted for family reunification for the Aburakhias.

Ibrahim and his family have a chance to get to safety in Canada, reunite with their long-missed relatives, and get the vital medical care Ibrahim and his elderly mother need. However, they need funds to survive and be able to evacuate and travel to Canada, and donations have been extremely slow. Please, share and donate, anything you can give makes a lifesaving difference to my friend and his family.

My friend Aahed @fatooamaahed lives in Ghazzah with his family, including his three young daughters who he loves dearly. His middle daughter, Iman, has serious foot injuries. These have left her feet bowed, causing pain and making her unable to walk without a medical device. To properly heal, Iman needs surgery. The surgery requires doctors to cut into the bones on her feet and insert metal plates, which would have to remain there for a year.

Unfortunately, this surgery is expensive, as are the other basic needs like food and shelter that all of Aahed’s family require to survive in the midst of genocide. They need your help and donations to afford Iman’s surgery, as well as other necessities. 

Iman is only 6 years old. No child should have to live in constant pain, unable to get the treatment they need to heal. Please, share and donate so Iman can get the surgery she needs.

Even if you are unable to donate, there is another major way you could help. Aahed needs someone who can focus on spreading his campaign by making and sharing posts to raise funds for him. My friend Nour ( @mahmoud-ashour2 ) Ashour’s son, Mohammed, is disabled. Before the war, he was able to receive the regular medical treatments and physical therapy he needs. Unfortunately, the last two years of ongoing genocidal war in Ghazzah have prevented Mohammed from getting the treatments he needs, causing his condition to deteriorate. 

Recently, Mohammed got prescribed a treatment of weekly injections. However, each injection costs $300. Nour can’t afford this, as even basic living necessities are very expensive right now in Ghazzah, and donations to Nour and her family stagnating.

Nour needs help to get Mohammed the vital medical treatment he needs. Disabled kids like Mohammed deserve the support and medical care they need to live and thrive. Please, share and donate! Anything you can give helps!

Aahed @fatooamaahed and his family have been through so much. They lost their home to bombing, and were displaced over and over again. Now they are suffering from malnutrition, and don’t have proper shelter from the cold and the rain.

This picture was shared with me by my friend Ibrahim @aburakhiaibrahim. Ibrahim has spent the last two years surviving a genocide. The stress from doing so has caused him both mental and physical illness and exhaustion, which he urgently needs treated.

A doctor prescribed Ibrahim with medications, which he was able to get several weeks ago, but he has since run out. Being unable to take his medication regularly will seriously harm Ibrahim’s health, but the prices are high, and without donations he can’t afford it. As well Ibrahim’s elderly mother needs medications and a special diet to treat her chronic conditions.

The attached p@yp@l link belongs to Ibrahim’s brother. If you donate to it, the money gets to Ibrahim and his family much faster and more directly than it would with a gfm campaign.

My dear friend Ibrahim Aburakhia @aburakhiaibrahim has been working incredibly hard to take care of his elderly parents as his family has suffered through the iof’s bombing and blockade. Unfortunately, Ibrahim is now suffering from health problems, preventing him from going online to raise funds for his family’s survival.

Ibrahim’s mother especially needs help, as she has diabetes and high blood pressure. Her disabilities mean she needs a specific diet and regular medications, both of which are extremely expensive in Ghazzah. However, without these things, her health and life are in serious risk. In addition, the whole Aburakhia family needs access to clean water and food.

Ibrahim is exhausted from the trauma and loss he has lived through. He just wants desperately for his family to have what they need to survive. Their only source of income for the last two years has been donations. However, donations keep slowing and stopping, leaving the Aburakhia family sick and starving.

As well as living in fear of bombing, they have been living with thirst and malnutrition, and lack the medicines they need.

Ibrahim and his family been deprived of basic necessities for life, all of which are extremely expensive to purchase now in Ghazzah.
