What asset classes can I trade with Aries?
Aries offers a range of asset classes to help you build a diversified portfolio. You can trade individual stocks, ETFs, options, and index options — all from a single platform. Each asset class carries its own risk profile; options trading involves significant risk and is not appropriate for all investors. Please review the Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options before trading.
Can I trade outside of regular market hours?
Yes, Aries provides access to both pre-market and after-hours trading sessions. Pre-market trading begins as early as 4:00 AM ET, and after-hours trading extends until 8:00 PM ET. Standard market hours are 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM ET. Extended-hours trading involves additional risks, including lower liquidity, higher volatility, wider spreads, and the possibility of receiving prices less favorable than during regular market hours.
Is there a minimum amount required to start investing?
There is no minimum deposit required to open an Aries account. Fractional share investing allows you to purchase portions of stocks, making it possible to start building a portfolio with smaller amounts. All investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal, regardless of the amount invested.
What features are available to customize my trading experience?
Aries offers several features to support your trading. Simulated trading lets you practice strategies in a risk-free environment before committing real capital. Recurring investment plans allow you to automate contributions to stocks, ETFs, and other asset classes on a schedule you choose. The platform also includes customizable dashboards where you can arrange widgets, charts, and third-party plugins to suit your preferences. Simulated trading results are hypothetical and do not guarantee future performance in live markets.
How quickly can I access my funds after a deposit?
Funds can be deposited via ACH bank transfer or wire transfer. ACH transfers typically take 1–3 business days to settle, while wire transfers are generally available sooner, often within the same business day. You will be able to trade once your funds have fully cleared. Processing times may vary depending on your bank and transfer method. Wire transfers may be subject to fees from your sending bank.
