I'm a software developer and the founder of Swiftmade, a development agency based in Tallinn, Estonia. We partner with businesses to architect, build, and scale web applications. Since moving to Estonia in 2019 through the Startup Visa program, Swiftmade has grown into a 14-person team serving clients from the US, UK and across Europe.
At Swiftmade we're a fully remote team, built on mutual trust and professionalism. I paid close attention to hiring not just by merit, but also by character and work ethic, which I believe is key to our success. If that sounds like your kind of team, check out Swiftmade.
My background? I've been at this for a while. I was taking apart computers at 12, doing paid PHP work at 15, and freelancing through university. I studied English Language and Literature at Bilkent University, which has nothing to do with programming but shaped how I think, write, and communicate.
Over the years, I've architected and built solutions across a wide range of domains: social services, insurance, robotics, healthcare, ticketing, bookings, car rentals, and more. I like to dig into the domain and understand the business problem deeply, not just execute specs.
I've also launched several of my own products along the way, from mobile apps to SaaS tools. Not all of them worked out, but each one taught me something about building for a market, not just building. These days, I'm spending more time thinking about marketing, distribution and product/market fit.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, good music and specialty coffee. I'm hooked on Papermill beans recently, and making coffee at home is my current form of meditation.
