Period covered: 1 – 31 August 2025

ETHTokyo (12–15 Sept)

1. Quick Hits (TL;DR)

  • ETH Tokyo — We’ll be in Tokyo around ETHTokyo (12–15 Sept). Founders: need an edge when speaking to investors? Investors: looking for curated deal flow? Let’s meet - DMs are open (on X/TG/LinkedIn) and coffee’s on us.

  • Marketing‑first month — Focused on GTM for existing clients: narrative sharpening, channel tests, and investor‑facing collateral.

  • Website iteration finalised — UX/mobile passes complete; analytics + tagging live for attribution and partner click‑throughs.

  • Riverstone X — Cadence is better (with fewer posts) as we prioritise lead‑gen. It’s working—securing meetings directly from X.

  • Fundraising — Two active raises progressed through the Riverstone network.

  • Token2049 — On the back burner pending co‑host confirmation.

2. Pipeline & Client Progress (names redacted)

OTC & Private Placements

We’ve been active in high‑level OTC deal flow and private placements in blue‑chip companies via Layer‑1 SPVs. More to share in Q4. If you’re interested in liquid deal flow or direct‑to‑cap‑table investments, reach out - DMs are open on all platforms.

Cross‑Border Payments Platform

Accepted into the Solana Accelerator (NYC). Closing in on a lead investor; we’re supporting GTM and investor materials.

Event Partnership (Token2049)

Back‑burner for now, pending co‑host confirmation. Prep work (format, deck, prelim partner list) remains ready to resume.

AI Staking Optimisation

Momentum is strong with tighter brand DNA and internal marketing processes; ready to shift into more aggressive guerrilla marketing.

3. Internal Operations & Hiring

  • No major changes this month.

  • The BD machine is running well with strong outreach across LinkedIn, X, and Telegram.

  • Content calendar kept X + blog in sync without tripping over deep‑dives.

  • Template library continues to speed up deal flow.

4. Product & Tech Experiments

  • Analytics — Google Tag Manager implemented on riverstone.one; partner CTAs and BD conversions now tracked end‑to‑end.

  • Branding & creative — Used Midjourney to iterate image concepts; brand DNA guide tightened and applied across assets.

  • Video — Continued testing short‑form video based on existing blog posts (especially for clients); building a simple, repeatable recording/editing pipeline.

  • UX — Small mobile refinements and micro‑animations shipped to reduce friction on key pages.

5. Market Intel (What Caught My Eye)

  • Hodl + Yield, Not Buy/Sell (Podcast)
Matt Luongo (Thesis, Mezo) lays out how to unlock BTC’s utility without selling—think BTC-backed credit, programmatic collateral, and Bitcoin-denominated stablecoins. The core idea: keep long BTC exposure while accessing liquidity and yield, with risk living in collateral management and counterparty design.

  • The Treasury Bid & Macro Flows (Podcast)
Charles Edwards (Capriole) breaks down the forces behind Bitcoin’s run: corporate treasuries stacking daily, MicroStrategy’s playbook as a catalyst, and macro liquidity tilting risk-on. The takeaway: structural buyers + improving sentiment set the stage for new highs, even as leverage and funding need watching.

  • Solana lending momentum (Article)
Jupiter Lend crossed the $500m TVL mark, another signal of demand for Solana‑based credit rails.

  • Trump and $WLFI (Article)
Reporting on a high‑profile $100m crypto donor underlined how quickly policy narratives can reshape market sentiment (Reuters).

6. Personal Learnings & Reflections

  • Delegation works: freeing myself from first‑line BD calls unlocked deeper strategy hours.

  • Using AI tools (Cursor, V0) as force multipliers shortens feedback cycles but still needs a human QA lens.

  • Consistent content > cold outreach: posts drive conversations, referrals, and conversions.

  • Consistent routine wins: prioritising sleep hygiene and taking regular time off, even when you don’t think you need it, keeps execution sharp.

7. Looking Ahead (September Preview)

  • ETH Tokyo meetings: 7–20 Sept in Tokyo; DM to book time (founders and investors welcome).

  • Continue attribution tuning and partner CTA tracking.

  • Publish an August client‑GTM recap on the blog and roll highlights to X/LinkedIn.

  • Lock September/October conference travel and outreach tracks.

  • Add a part‑time editor/strategist to keep video + posts shipping on schedule.

Shabbat Shalom 😎
