There is a term called “Love Language.” What do you do to show a significant other how much you love and care for them without actually saying you love and care for them. It’s the little things really. Going out of the way to plant flowers in the yard, making sure to cook a favorite meal, doing a chore the other one hates, taking the kids to their lessons when the primary caring partner doesn’t feel well, going out of your way for the in-laws, taking time to show that you care about what your partner finds crucial when it comes to life choices-politics-religion, little tiny gestures that when taken all together shows that you are that special someone to your significant other.
Political parties are supposed to do that for constituents. The love language of a political party is the party leaders showing that they care about your priorities. They spend time on trying to fix salient issues. They don’t dismiss your cares. They also don’t side with those who want to burn your babies alive, and gang rape you to death. You know… the little gestures.
So there are 435 members of the House of Representatives.
103 democrats voted to cut aide to Israel and it looks like the left, is wetting itself with glee. Of course that still means the majority of democrats voted no on the Massie, aka antisemite du jour, amendment. And of course the republicans voted “no” as well. Interesting, that a man who was rejected by his own republican constituents, seemingly because he spit on every important republican issue, can get so many democrats to side with this Jew-hating bottom feeder on Israel. Massie, of course, was the better half of Ro Khanna, of “Platner is the second coming and some Israelis were mean to me when I went into a restricted military zone fame,” when demanding access to the Epstein files as well.
Funny how Khanna and Massie didn’t seem to demand access to Qatar files/bank records, university and think tank funding to see how the Islamist-slaver state has influenced our education system and our electorate. They also don’t seem the least bit interested in China’s influence in Hollywood (aka our culture) or the activities of Chicom related Singham and his pushing for the US to not build AI data centers and his influence in our political system. (This playboy Chinese communist even bankrolled a convention where Bernie was the star speaker about the evils of data centers. Are you really surprised that Bernie was front and center at this commie financed get together? Truly, there never was a communist that Bernie did not bend over for.)
Remember something very important, and don’t get distracted with shiny new baubles like a 400 million dollar plane as did someone who shall remain nameless, at present we are in an AI race between the US and China with China trying to influence the future of the US AI industry. (Funny how the US can’t seem to influence Chinese society in the same way. Hmm, I wonder if it has something to do with China being an authoritarian fascist society, where the government doesn’t exist at the behest of the Chinese people.) Here’s the reality, if the Chicoms can win the AI race, then between their monopoly of rare earth minerals and AI, we would be at China’s beck and call. China would then march into Taiwan, where all of our semiconductor and microchips are made, and we could do nothing about it. THIS IS NOT A GAME. Effectively, China would then rule the world.
But the Democrats are still acting like they are college students without any actual life experiences when it comes to foreign policy dangers and reality. And right on cue the next step by the moron who runs NY state, Hochul, happily complied by stopping the development of these data centers in upstate New York. “It’s only a 1 year moratorium,” she whined. I kid you not. Anyone who votes for this shitforbrains needs to have their functional adult designation questioned.
(PS if you also don’t think that the antiIsrael animus isn’t part of the Chinese playbook to undermine the US you are not paying attention. Sure the left has coopted the Soviet antisemitic antizionist playbook of the Cold War, but the Chinese have set it to turbo with TikTok and other forms of social media. It behooves China to side with Iran and Russia because they not only got cheap oil from Iran, but as long as they can keep Iran a thorn in the side of the US, this keeps the US busy outside the South China Seas, and the Indo-Pacific region).
Furthermore, what is it about socialists in NY that their goal is to impoverish the state? AOC kills amazon from coming here and cost tens of thousands of jobs in Queens, and now Hochul has stopped the building of data centers in upstate NY where it is economically in the dumpster. Again tens of thousands of union jobs lost. The unions are not happy with her. Lets hope they are so not happy with her that they decide for a change to tell their rank and file to vote for the republican, the guy who would actually bring business back to the state. He actually did a really good job with Nassau county. But I am sure she will find a way to get the union bosses to betray their constituents. That is how it always works, doesn’t it?
You do have to ask yourself how does business killing New York State stay afloat then? Well as long as Wall Street is functioning it seems the state can leech off of the financial sector. But with Mamdani pissing off the people that actually make the money, I am not sure how that is going to go in the future. And his latest about freezing rents will definitely not make it easier to rent an apartment in the city. Landlords who can’t afford to fix the apartments will just take a loss on buildings and builders will refuse to build. (Apparently there are 50,000 such ghost apartments in the City) A report also says that since Mamdani was elected so many millionaires have moved out of NYC, that the city has actually lost 11 billion dollars in tax revenue. (Oh and lets not forget that glorious new addition to the City, the growing homeless encampment by the Intrepid Museum.)
And of course, so many have left New York for Florida, that Hochul had said it is their patriotic duty to move back to NY to be taxed to fund the state’s programs. I know I have mentioned that little bit of inanity before, but it simply boggles the mind- the complete and utter entitlement of the left to think they have a right to what people build and create. Government does not work for their money. They take yours to fund what they deem important. This is beyond funding municipal projects like road. Remember that. She demands that people who have left the state because of Albany’s idiotic social spending, should move back so the state can steal their money to fund even more idiotic programs.
By the way, I am not against taxation. I am against my money being thrown away. Use my money to actually help people. Not pay for some virtue signaling bullshit. I pay New York State and county taxes, and the roads don’t even get fixed. You can actually see when you drive into Connecticut or New Jersey, because the functionality of the road actually changes immediately for the better. And yes, I know we need to leave the state, but our jobs really are here and no we can’t change jobs. It’s hard enough at 65 to get and keep a job. We can’t uproot ourselves and hope someone takes a chance on us at our age.
Not gonna move now. When we retire, eventually, we will see where we will go. I hear Netanya and Bat Yam have some nice seaside expat communities. I won’t be able to afford Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Yeah I know I am hedging my bets that for Jews in the US things are going to get alot worse. Did you happen to notice the discussion at the beginning of this essay about the vote in Congress? Do you think that is an anomaly? You think with Israel being a democrat litmus test, and with the democrats, even the Jewish democrats like Rahm, Slotkin, Josh Shapiro, saying they wont take money from AIPAC, which is just a group of Jewish Americans that support proIsrael policies, that antisemitism is going to suddenly get better instead of worse? Because it always ends well for Jews when political parties demonize us, especially when there are Jews in power who instead of fighting back they acquiesce to show what a good lapdog they are. (That didn’t end well for the judenrat or the yevsektsiya. They ended up dead just like all the other Jews. Maybe these democrat Jews with trembling knees should read up on history.)
And yes, I would greatly prefer to remain in the United States. I am not so sure that in 10 (maybe 5 depending on the next president) years time, the US is going to actually be safe for Jews anymore than Europe is now. I am not so sure that the US is going to want its Jews anymore, well at least those of us who are proud to be Jewish and who actually understand what it means to be Jewish in a real Jewish way, and not some progressive bullcrap social justice fake tikkun olam crapolah way. (of course this cockamamie version of judaism is probably why 44% of those Jewish young people recently polled like that incompetent antiamerican genocidal Jew hater Mamdani.
(Haviv Rettig Gur in his latest podcast doesn’t believe America will ever get as bad as Europe for Jews, because the US is unique in its treatment and acceptance of Jews. Oh there may be the next door antisemite, but we have never experience concerted organized socially accepted antisemitism. Well not since the 1950s and 1960s. At least not in the past few generations. It is a new experience for us as a community. Honestly, I would prefer to experience a vacation in French Polynesia instead, but sometimes you need to accept the experiences you are given in life, not the ones you wish for. But what Haviv forgets is that the one thing every group that has come to the US has in common is their ancestral history of Jew-hatred. It is easy to accept antisemitic conspiracies and lies when you have heard whispers your entire life. Am I pessimistic? We will see who is right and who is wrong over time. I hope its him and not me.)
Meanwhile, you would think that if they actually cared about the future, the Democrats would devise programs that help people become viable members of society, not remain in need of the social safety net. But they don’t. All they talk about is free college, as if the average tax payor, who does not go to college, is going to want to fund some spoiled brat who thinks they are entitled to attend an $80,000 a year school. It would be nice, though, if someone came up with a program to fund the trades: plumbing, HVAC, electricity, welding, etc. Careers that society can and will always need. (We don’t need more people with degrees in lesbian line dancing. With all due respect to lesbians.) But I don’t hear that. I hear entitled children demanding, that someone help them with their bills so they can continue to buy $10 Starbucks frappachinos.
(To the eternally spoiled in this world, you also are not entitled to live in NYC, or rent your own apartment, go out to dinner, order in, buy new clothes, go to the Hamptons in the summer, go to plays, afford streaming services, etc, if you cannot afford it. These are luxuries, not necessities. It’s really sad that no one ever taught these participation trophy children the difference.)
And don’t talk about medicare for all. First of all, we have medicaid for the poor, and yes there are limits. However, there are also exceptions like Katie Beckett waivers. There is medicare for the elderly and if you are disabled, you can also go on medicare at any age. Is it perfect? No it is not. Is health insurance insanely expensive? Yes it is. Does our healthcare system need to be fixed? You bet it does. But making us all beholden to some centralized bureaucrat apparatchik is really not my idea of healthcare and living a long life. Of course, maybe that is the goal. Like in Logan’s Run where come the age of 30 your life is considered over and they kill you. (In Canada they just call is MAID and pat themselves on the back.) By the way, it was Ezekiel Emanuel, one of the architects of Obamacare, that said no one over 70 should get life saving treatment because you are already in decline and it is a waste of resources. Well he said that not surprisingly, until he reached 70. But the idea of curtailing resources beginning at a certain age is already part of the medicare for all playbook.
Remember too, that the Democrats are NOT the party of the working class. I am not sure what they are the party of anymore other than Hamas, communists, al Qaeda, Iran, and genocidal Jew-hatred. (Ok yeah sure I am being rather hyperbolic, but I also don’t think I am that far off on the Jewish issue.)
Meanwhile, I think we Jews are seeing a new kind of love language of the democrats in real time. I actually think it is time for those Jews who haven’t left this marriage to think about a divorce.
No it doesn’t mean you have to be a republican. I myself am an independent. But it is time that Jewish democrats show in some way their disgust about how they are being treated instead of just sitting in a corner with a dunce cap, and making excuses for their bruises. Jews did not walk into a door, fall down some stairs or trip over a couch. That broken arm isn’t because Jews fell off a bike. A black eye covered up with concealer is still a black eye.

And before you say but republicans and Jew hatred, over 80% of all republicans polled are proIsrael. And generally if a person is proIsrael they somehow don’t demonize their Jewish neighbors. Funny how that goes hand in hand. Like Israel, don’t try to kill Jewish toddlers in nursery schools.
Ok, unless you are the Vice President and go on Joe Rogan and claim Israel wants to keep the US in a forever war with Iran. Funny how he complains about Israel hiring a PR firm to get their message across about his MOU being ridiculous (which it was, but the goal was to try to bring ProIsrael content to younger MAGA voters), but he doesn’t seem nonplussed that Qatar has bought a large segment of US pundits and powerbrokers. How many PR firms has Qatar hired? Or is the VP listening to Trita Parsi, of NIAC and the Quincy Institute, the Iranian Mullah’s shill that masquerades as a lobbyist. Hmm, maybe Vance’s problem is that he doesn’t like that someone told his little hillbilly princeling tuchas that he has no clothes. Or maybe he is one of those who has already been bought. He definitely seems to have been bought by the American Nazi vote. (read Amit Segal on Vance’s embrace of this latest antisemitic conspiracy)
May God Bless the US Armed Forces and the IDF.
