Too many campaigns treat Latino voters like an afterthought. They show up late, if at all, and then act surprised when Latino turnout is low.

That is not a mystery. That is neglect.

This is part 3 of a 6 part series focused on Latino representation and how we can deliver power to el pueblo.

Latino communities must be treated as a core constituency. That means early outreach. Consistent engagement. Year round investment.

I have seen what happens when campaigns take the time to listen, build trust, and recruit leaders from within the community. Participation increases.

Community Investment sends a message. You matter. You belong here.

One thing is clear, you cannot build trust in the final weeks of a campaign. Have a plan for Latino voters at launch, not just for your general election pivot.
