I write this while on an epic American roadtrip from Texas to New York. My family will be in NYC on the 4th of July, able to see the 50th annual Macy’s fireworks show (the largest in the nation) and (possibly) Taylor Swift’s wedding. Both equally magnificent patriotic events.
