He's just not that into you

I was recently ghosted, and when I realized what had happened, I screamed into the void “I should have seen the signs that this would happen!” He constantly rescheduled then wouldn’t confirm plans for another date then disappeared altogether into thin air.

1. He's constantly checking his phone. If he can't put his phone down for a minute to spend quality time with you, it's a sign that he's not fully invested in the relationship — or whatever this could have been.

2. He's always talking about himself. If he's not asking you questions and seems more interested in talking about himself, it's a sign that he's not interested in getting to know you.

3. He's flaky. If he's always canceling plans last minute or is unreliable, he’s not taking the relationship — or your time — seriously.

4. He's disrespectful. If he's rude to you, talks down to you, or is disrespectful in any way to waitstaff or your friends, he’s not going to be a prize for you. Believe me, trying to convince someone that they should have basic empathy is just an impossible task. Give up, get out now.

5. He's jealous. Ever heard of the phrase “Every accusation is a confession?” If he's always accusing you of cheating or gets jealous when you talk to other guys, he may be accusing you because his eyes are on the prowl. He’s not committed to your relationship, and he’s saying it loud and clear.
