Happy Sunday to you all. I realize it’s been a while since I’ve done a paid subscriber post. First of all, I want to thank you all for sticking with me and supporting Another Thought! It really means a lot and the support you give truly goes a long way. I put a lot of hours into this between writing, editing, planning, and drawing the newsletter every week. I have so much more I plan on doing with Another Thought, and I’m starting to get my head around how to make it happen.

The first step in this is starting what I’m calling “Sketchbook Sundays.” These are occasional Sunday posts where I’ll peel back the curtain and share some pieces from my notebooks, drafts folder, and other miscellaneous pieces I find in my drawers and hard drives. I may try other formats out as well, with things like quick hits of more music, movies, books, etc. that I’m loving. So stay tuned for that.

For the inaugural “Sketchbook Sunday,” I wanted to give you a deeper look into the making of my book 20th Century Ambient. It’s crazy to think it’s now been over six months since the book came out! Writing and releasing the book has been a life-changing experience. If you don’t know, the book not only covers ambient music’s recent history and evolution, but also includes a bunch of drawings and comics.
