This latest wishlist is feeling a little different to my usual style. This time it's giving clean girl energy, sleek, stainless, grown up vibes whilst all feeling a little more...serious. I like it.

Maybe it’s because the current state of my house that’s giving daycare vibes, scattered in brightly coloured toys as far as the eye can see with piles of clothes to pack to match. Or maybe it’s because it’s the beginning of the new year, which can often bring on strong feelings of ‘OMG WHY DO I HAVE SO MUCH STUFF IN MY HOUSE’ with the urgency to cull, declutter and rebrand immediately. Maybe it’s a bit of column A, and a bit of column B.

So in light of this change of mood, here’s my latest list of Things & Stuff that are currently on my wish list. You will find a cleaner, quieter palette compared to usual vibe. It’s all a little more grown up, a little more serious…and I’ll warn you now - a little more out of budget ! Thankfully we’re only here to window shop.

  1. In another life, this 932 ‘Quartet’ sofa designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina would be sitting in my living room as we speak. Made in Italy, from 1964 - she’s an absolute beauty and is that WOW factor item of hero furniture that I have always dreamed of having. Just wowowow!

  2. It’s hard to pluck just one item out from the Volker Haug collection, there’s just SO much goodness in there BUT this gridded Bruce Wall Sconce is an absolute winner! It’s perfection and I need it on my wall asap.

  3. These B/B Placemats come up a lot in my feed and every-time they do, it brings me one step closer to pulling the trigger, before telling myself I probably will never actually use it so I try to fight the urge.

  4. Okay so this one is a bit wild, but in a world where I live in a big beautiful loft style home with exposed rafters and industrial finishes, where off to the corner beside my floor to ceiling bookshelf sits THIS CHAIR having a little moment, catching glimmers of the afternoon sun, atop a vibrant woollen bright blue rug. I see it!

  5. Hamish Munro has got to be up there with one of my favourite jewellers in the world. I am lucky enough to have my engagement/wedding rings by him! His new Signal Series has got me wishing I had a milestone birthday coming up because I need a good reason to buy this BEAUTIFUL necklace asap. But i’ll have to be patient.

  6. This is another object that keeps popping up in my instagram algorithm. This David Mellor! It also has this cuttle little Sugar Pot which I almost want to buy just because it’s v.cute on it’s own too!

  7. Oh how I have longed for one of these Opinion Ciatti Original Ptolomeo Bookcases for EVER! They’re so cool with their stainless steel floating shelves and timeless vibes. I’ve never seen a house that doesn’t suit this book case! Love!

  8. If you’re not following Melbourne’s most renowned florists Hattie Molloy on instagram, then you better start now. She is so unbelievably talented and in my opinion, has the most unique and beautiful hand, eye and taste when it comes to the art of floristry. She also makes these very cool vases which are a statement in themselves, and can make even the simplest of flower arrangements look impressive! I already have one of her vases but this is a new shape and I’m very much into it.

  9. I love the simplicity of this Theo Lamp. Stainless base, crisp white shade. Timeless, simple and stylish and a good size too! I like when lamps feel bigger than they need to be, especially on a sideboard or bedside table OR this lamp would even look great sitting on top of a nice stack of books & mags on the floor.

  10. If you don’t already own an Arnold Circus Stool, then maybe now is the time to do so. I already have one of these in my bathroom (great spot for it as it’s plastic) however I have been considering getting a second…or third. They are SO handy! I love the texture of this one but it’s incredibly hard to get your hands on. One of my favourite stores ‘Good Things Store’ stocks them in an array of colours AND lucky you, with my discount code ANNIE10 you can get 10% off! I’m thinking I might get the deep red. What do you think?

  11. I’m a sucker for kinda pointless but kinda cute Building Block Soap Tray. I love that someone sketched that idea up, and put it into production in LA and here we are admiring it all the way over in Australia from LA.

  12. From the same shop, these bottle openers are quite cool, and I am in need of a bottle opener, better yet, an aesthetic one! You can find them here.

  13. Tekla get it right literally 10 times out of 10, and this very cute Brodarie Range is very cute, very doll house – and very cool when paired with more modern furnishings to surround it, such as the lamp which is next on the list. It’s just so dainty and beautiful I don’t know if my current bedroom could pull it off but for now I will admire from afar.

  14. Every now and then, something very cool, that you’ve never seen before but instantly LOVE will up on your instagram feed and make you stop in your tracks and say woooooow. This is one of those things. This lazer cut lace floor lamp is simply one of the most beautiful lights I have ever come across and OH how I wish I had a spot for it in my home! It’s called ‘Fiorella’s Floorlamp’ and it’s inspired by Victorian crochet patterns. Just beautiful.

  15. Nicole Lawrence is an extremely talented Australian furniture designer. She has been creating these screens for a little while now, this particular one is a part of an extremely beautiful exhibition entitles ‘Done/Undone’ curated by another talented man with excellent taste, Joseph Gardner. I LOVE every single peice he has handpicked for this show which is currently being held at one of my favourite melbourne stores – Craft Victoria. Again, if I were living in my imaginary loft, this would be on the shopping list. It’s just perfect. So considered and so timeless. She’s gawgeous.

  16. Now look, I wasn’t born yesterday, I know these bloody Akari Lamps have been circulating the design world forever HOWEVER another one of my all time favourite melbourne stores In Good Company is having a sale, and if you’ve looked into purchasing an Akari Lamp before, you will know that it’s a hell of a lot of dough for some paper and wire. WHICH is why I am using this opportunity to announce that In Good Company are currently holding their once in a blue moon lighting sale! Including the Akari range! And yes with the discount, it is still a lot of money to spend on such a thing BUT IYKYK and there’s no other light like an Akari light, so I am here to enable you, and maybe be too. I’ve got my eye on this one.

Alrighty, that’s a wrap! Thank you for tuning into Edition #3 of Things & Stuff are on my wish list. I have so much fun making these! I hope you enjoy them too. If you haven’t already, check out my last two editions below! Enjoy!
