Beloved,
Today is Easter, IMO the most celebrated religious holiday in the Christian world. And why shouldn’t it be? It’s all about the promise of the rebirth to come after a period of hardship.
This promise must be wired into our very DNA. Ancient humans worshiped the snake goddess, the most primal carrier of resurrection codes. For decades we’ve been obsessed with the caterpillar turning to soup, only to be reborn in full winged glory.
And here we all are; you, me and everyone we know in yet another period of challenge. With no shortage of hardship at the doorstep. Jonesing for a rebirth.
It’s coming! Don’t know when but this is the promise of Easter, of the snake, of Inanna, of butterfly soup.
Last week I talked about the death that precedes the transformation and rebirth in a dark night period; whether for you personally or for the collective. It’s necessary, albeit fear-inducing and uncomfortable. Today I go a little bit deeper but leave you with a practice to help you navigate this process and these times.
And hey, if these Sunday “sermons” are hitting the mark for you, please like, subscribe and share with your soul family. I really appreciate it as it helps to spread this ministry of love.
The Spirit notes in this episode:
The reason why Easter is the most celebrated Christian holiday
Why there’s no resurrection without the necessary death
What it means to die to yourself personally
How this death appears in the collective
How something so painful can be so holy
You’ll remember your divinity when you figure this one thing out
A short practice to help you remember your own divinity
I love hearing from you! Are there topics you wish I'd speak to from my kitchen table? I'm taking suggestions! :)
If you need support navigating the dissonance of the great awakening or your own dark night of the soul - all from a place of absolute alignment and LOVE - let's talk. We were not meant to do any of this alone.
Big Love,
Anné
P.S. We need the darkness, the fallow period, the shadowy interior of the soul for deep rest.
While the ego may fight against us (“You need to be productive, get sh!t done, no time for laying around!”), the truth is we need this period in order to bring awareness to the false realities we’ve all been subscribing to.
We need rest, we need repair. We need time and space to remember who and what we really are.
The shadows spaces are for restoration. We cannot do a dark night without them.
