I’m feeling better so am back to writing my MM romance, Jack’s Party. Ralph is taking things slow with Alec, but has a lot to think about. Plus I’ve reached the magic wordcount of 35,000 words. 😍

This week I’ve read The Paths We Choose by Remy Bishop: this is a dark, dangerous & very steamy wolf pack MM+ romance. I very much enjoyed getting to know these six very different men (5 werewolves of different categories with very different traumas & one magical human on the run) and found myself thinking about it and wondering how things were going to work out for them all even when I wasn't reading it. The wolf who stole my heart was Quinn - who is just SO torn between wanting to be independent and his call to the pack, and who is always his own man making his own decisions. Yes, I'm desperate to find out what happens to them all (especially Quinn!) in the next one in the series.

I’ve read If I Didn't Know Better by A B Julian: this series is just so good. I loved Preston and Ryan who are completely the opposite from each other, and I loved their very rocky road to a second chance romance. Sparks were definitely flying! It was also great to catch up with Myles & Xander from the first book as they try to sort out their up-and-down relationship, and I enjoyed the fact that all four men had to work together (in a very snippety way!) in order to solve the mystery which brings them together. Recommended.

And I’ve read That's Just Perfect by Nicola Gill: this was a very long-drawn-out and not very entertaining story about a woman who wants to make everyone proud of her and gets herself into a lot of tricky situations. I didn't warm to any of the characters, and the romantic situation involving the grandmother was particularly cliched. That said, I thought the decision about the terrible fiance was the right one and I rather enjoyed the ending where our heroine finally grew up.
