This has been our home the past four days. Pretty luxurious. Södra Teatern in Stockholm is one of my all time favourite venues. I played here 20 years ago on my very first tour, love coming back. There’s something special about red velvet drapes and gold ornaments, relics from a forgotten time.
We go through the same routines every day, routines we’ll stick with through out the tour
We meet for an early dinner at the venue. followed by soundcheck.
Then we have about an hour to get dressed, focus, do makeup, steam shirts, sleep, meditate or whatever gets us ready for the show.
The simple routines prepares us for stage. The venues, the crowd, the mood or cities change but the preparations stay the same.
I’ve been having some throat problems. I do house cures with tea and honey, rinse my mouth and brush my tongue with salt. I try not to speak. I rest.
Last supper at Södra Teatern in a few hours, time to collect my things.
See you soon!
