Welcome to my Substack!

I’m more than happy to have you here with me as I embark on this new endeavor as a writer, bringing my thoughts to you all.

This site is really a space for me to trigger open discussion on topics regarding marketing, branding, entrepreneurship from the Gen Z perspective. The global economy, political state, and societal norms and expectations have shifted greatly since the pandemic and it’s hard to not have something to say about it. I thought I wanted to capture how consumers’ relationship with beauty was changing and evolving with my A-List Zine, but I realize that my desire to study the intersection between business and consumer, and all the beginnings and ends is much stronger.

So while I write these thoughts out for you, here’s a little about me:

• Hobbies: Knitting, reading, running - I do any of these in my “free time”.

• Career: Numerous internships throughout high school and college with well-known companies including Nasdaq, Revlon, AOL, Vox Media, Pat McGrath Labs and more. I knew I wanted to study beauty marketing with the intention of founding an intentional beauty company, but that’s since shifted with more experience and understanding different industries.

  • I’ve also tried and failed at Etsy (more power to anyone who can conquer that platform), and did start the beauty company which never launched due to product design complications (but more on that later).

• Education: B.S Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing, Minor Design Thinking from The Fashion Institute of Technology, MBA with concentrations in Analytics and Marketing from Northeastern.
