I’m reaching out on Angie’s Substack today to share exciting news: I’m officially endorsing her in the race for Minnesota’s wide-open U.S. Senate seat!
Allow me to explain why I believe Angie is the best fit for the job.
Angie’s relentless. She’s tough, she’s tested, and she is exactly who we need in Washington. When I met Angie, we were working together to advance marriage equality in Minnesota, and she never, ever backed down.
If elected, Angie would make history as the FIRST lesbian woman to represent Minnesota in the Senate. That’s a big deal for the LGBTQ+ kids across our state who have never seen someone like them have a seat at the table.
At a time where our civil liberties are under attack, I cannot think of a better person than Angie to represent the resilience and pride of the people here in Minneapolis.
Angie continues to be outspoken about the corruption and lawlessness of this administration, and she won’t quit fighting for what’s right.
Friend, Minnesota needs a leader who can deliver on everything from affordable housing to public safety. We need a champion who will hold the powerful accountable and stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Minnesota. That’s why I’m honored to support her candidacy for U.S. Senate, and I’m hoping you will too.
