I am in no way defending Richard Nixon. Had we a population half as well educated as we had then, this regime would have never made it out of Atlantic City, or even across the river from Manhattan into New Jersey.
Long before I finished my first AA at BCC in 2002, I was sheep dipped into the toxic mix of mob, money, and military industrial complex where and when if you stood in the middle of the Sea Bright bridge you could observe a Tolkienesque horror rising in the brown skies of leaded gasoline emissions known as the World Trade Center, ground zero of the NWO.
Nixon, who was once propped up by Big Oil, proposed the creation of the EPA. This alone says a lot about who we were as a nation then. Who turned the screws, and what broke Nixon? A better question is how the hell did today’s POTUS get out of Queens? Who was running this less than useful idiot breaking this nation and endangering the planet?
I am a product of the Cold War HR R&D pipeline, and far from alone. I saw those towers go up, and I saw them come down. There was a new New World Order in town, fermenting in the background. Chaos and confusion, and factions grasping. Big oil was prepositioned to capitalize on every weakness. We attacked Iraq to protect their interests. Now we have this, and an EPA rendered useless, as we twist in the grasp of a global syndicate of despots, fanatics, and ultra-rich who could care less about the people of the US, Russia, or Israel.
Nixon was not only brilliant by comparison: Nixon actually cared about this nation. Was he paranoid, was he broken? Yes, but he was, at his worst, a lot healthier and less compromised than anyone supporting this regime.
