Both NJ Senators were Rhodes Scholars. One of them does something. The other seems to be waiting for bigger or better things.

Yesterday I read that Andy Kim finally endorsed Rachel Peace, who is running against Chris Smith in NJ’s 4th congressional District. Rachel is a gutsy single mom from Wall Township living in Brick. We do not know where Chris Smith lives. I have never seen him in public.

If you want to know about “progressive” candidates independent journalists like A. Eevie Bateman give us the option.

When Andy Kim first took on both the far right and his own party and beat both to earn his seat in Congress, he remained stuck between the syndicate-run SONJ and the MAGA freak show. Andy Kim put his nose to the ground and kept on keeping on, as the insanity and corruption in NJ and Washington were swallowing up everything.

I do not know of a politician that works harder than Senator Kim. I need a nap just imagining his travels around New Jersey. I am glad he has returned to Delaney and finally endorsed Rachel Peace, who would do well to mimic Kim’s work ethic.

Senator Kim keeps his constituents better informed than any politician, not just when he is running for something. Andy Kim understands branding and communications. Even us laymen can follow him and know that he is at least trying to get things done. I cannot say that about the other one, who is aloof by comparison.
