A Senator from Maryland

Christopher Van Hollen Jr. (/væn ˈhɒlən/ van HOL-ən; born January 10, 1959) is an American attorney and politician serving as the senior United States senator from Maryland, a seat he has held since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the U.S. representative for Maryland’s 8th congressional district from 2003 to 2017 and as a Maryland state senator from 1995 to 2003.^[1][2]

Talk about the opposite of what is now running the nation, and Chris Van Hollen jumps right out at anyone paying attention. I like the resume of Chris Van Hollen better than I did Clinton, Obama, or Biden’s at this junction. Just sayin’.

I have never met the man, born to Americans in Pakistan, but I would like to. I am tossing his name into the American Lit prankster photon transmitter, because as you all know by now: signals matter.

I am getting used to the Idea of a Van Hollen run for the oval office, which could change without notice. Read his bio, it is quite impressive. Skeletons in his closet? LOL, as if that matters at all these days. What he is not is a syndicate asset. Nothing against the syndicate, I just prefer them to be outside of my government. I do not think that is too big an ask.
