As we head into the 2026 election cycle, discernment is no longer optional. If voters do not clearly define what a Republican is, we will keep electing people who campaign in red and govern in gray.

What a RINO Really Is
A RINO is not just someone you disagree with on one issue.
A RINO is a Republican In Name Only who campaigns as a conservative and governs as a moderate, a neocon, or a quiet enabler of the uniparty.
RINOs survive by talking tough in primaries, avoiding real positions, taking corporate and globalist money, and governing carefully enough to protect their careers rather than their constituents.
They are polished.
They are well funded.
They are usually very comfortable.
And they are not fighters.
Why New Faces Matter
Freedom Brigades is unapologetic about this. We want new faces. However, we understand that there are good representatives (albeit not many!) out there so discretion of course applies here.
If possible, we do not want incumbents. We do not want career politicians. We do not want people who have already had their chance and failed quietly.
We want candidates who are still hungry, still accessible, and still willing to say unpopular truths because they are not owned.
If a candidate is struggling financially but standing firm on principles, that is not a weakness. That is often the clearest sign you are dealing with one of the good guys.
The rich RINOs do not need your money.
The grassroots fighters absolutely do.
Your donations should go to candidates who need help, not candidates who already have donor lists full of lobbyists, consultants, and uniparty power brokers.
The Freedom Brigades RINO Litmus Test
You do not need insider access to spot a RINO. You just need to ask real questions and pay attention to how candidates respond.
Red Flag One: Carpetbagging
Where has the candidate actually lived over the last decade?
Where did they pay taxes?
Did they suddenly discover your state when a seat opened up?
Real representatives come from the community. Opportunists shop for districts.
Red Flag Two: Big Money With Strings
Money alone does not make someone a RINO, but it demands scrutiny.
Who donated?
Do those donors also fund Democrats?
Are they tied to Big Pharma, Big Ag, global NGOs, or defense contractors?
FEC filings are public. Use them. Then ask the candidate directly whether that money influences their positions.
Red Flag Three: Medical Freedom Dodging
Ask about COVID. Ask about mandates. Ask about mRNA products.
A RINO will squirm. They will say it is complicated or divisive. They will try to change the subject.
Medical freedom is divisive because it matters.
Red Flag Four: January 6 Evasion
Ask whether January 6 was an insurrection.
Ask whether Americans received due process.
Ask whether they support justice instead of narratives.
RINOs either repeat Democrat talking points or refuse to answer.
Red Flag Five: Election Integrity Word Games
Ask whether the 2020 election had problems.
Ask whether election systems deserve serious reform.
If you hear vague platitudes instead of clear positions, take note.
Red Flag Six: Career Politician Syndrome
How long have they been in office?
How did they vote on the Patriot Act?
How did they vote on Obamacare?
Did they support spying on Americans?
Records do not lie. RINOs hope voters never look.
Red Flag Seven: Forever War Thinking
Ask about Ukraine. Ask about endless funding abroad.
We need leaders who stop wars, not leaders who manage them indefinitely.
Red Flag Eight: Identity Politics in Red Clothing
If a candidate runs on vote for me because of my gender or race instead of constitutional equality, they are importing leftist frameworks into the Republican Party.
Red Flag Nine: COVID Silence or Compliance
Check their social media history.
Did they support lockdowns?
Did they push mandates?
Did they shame people for refusing the jab?
Or did they say nothing at all?
Silence during tyranny is not leadership.
Do Their Donors Also Fund Democrats?
How to Spot Uniparty Money
One of the clearest signs you may be dealing with a RINO is this question: do the people funding this Republican also fund Democrats and Democrat causes? It’s also important to keep in mind that the goal is to get Democrat donors to come to our side, so this issue can see shifts but we must be aware of those that play both sides.
If the answer is yes, you are almost certainly looking at uniparty money, not grassroots support.
How to check it yourself.
First, identify the donor.
Go to the Federal Election Commission database at
https://www.fec.gov/data/
Search the candidate and review itemized receipts. Write down large donors, PACs, executives, and bundlers.
Second, search the donor directly.
Use the same FEC tool and search the donor name. You will see every federal contribution they have made.
Third, look for patterns.
Do they donate to Republicans and Democrats in the same cycles?
Do they give to leadership PACs on both sides?
Do they fund Democrat aligned NGOs or ballot initiatives?
If so, they are buying access, not supporting values.
Grassroots candidates usually have small donors and local supporters.
RINOs usually have donor portfolios that hedge both sides.
If the same donor funds your Republican and the Democrat they claim to oppose, ask why.
Use this list when speaking with candidates in person, by phone, at town halls, at GOP club events, or in campaign offices. A serious candidate should be able to answer without scripted avoidance.
The Freedom Brigades RINO Hunting Questionnaire
Short, Direct, No Place to Hide
These questions are designed to be asked calmly, clearly, and unscripted. A serious America First candidate should be able to answer all of them plainly. Dodging, deflecting, or mocking concerns is the answer.
Fundamental America First
Do you support medical freedom, including the right to refuse experimental medical products, and do you support removing unsafe mRNA vaccines from the market?
Do you believe the 2020 election had serious integrity issues, and do you support strong, transparent election integrity reforms, such as paper ballots, voter i.d., in person voting on election day only, and hand count?
What is your position on January 6 defendants and due process rights?
Constitutional Power and Federal Accountability
Do you support full congressional oversight of the DOJ and federal intelligence agencies, including increased transparency around issues like the Epstein files?
Do you oppose Central Bank Digital Currencies and government digital ID systems, including those created through the use of public-private partnerships?
War, Foreign Policy, and National Security
Do you oppose open ended foreign wars and would you support requiring congressional authorization before major military action?
What is your position on continued U.S. military and financial involvement in conflicts such as Ukraine, Iran, and expanding NATO operations?
Immigration, Border, and Trade
What is your concrete plan to secure the southern border and enforce immigration law in a way that prioritizes American workers and national security?
Do you believe current trade policies protect American manufacturing and jobs, and if not, what should change?
Economy and Affordability
Would you vote to cut funding to USAID, foreign NGO’s? Would you vote to make DOGE recommendations permanent and implement DOGE like supervision over all NGO’s?
Do you support tax cuts, spending reductions, or both to ease the cost of living for American families, would you commit to opposing any spending bill that does not balance our budget?
Healthcare and MAHA
Make America Healthy Again
Do you support MAHA principles, including confronting chronic disease, environmental toxins, and regulatory capture at agencies like the FDA, CDC, and NIH?
Do you support full transparency and public access to vaccine safety data and protections for doctors and researchers who speak openly about medical risks and alternatives?
Do you support banning harmful food additives, chemicals, and endocrine disruptors, as well as mRNA and gene therapy tech in the food supply?
Geoengineering and Environmental Transparency
Do you support full transparency, congressional oversight, and public disclosure of any geoengineering, weather modification, or atmospheric intervention programs, even if they are run by military, intel community, or through public-private partnerships.
Do you believe states and citizens have a right to know what substances may be dispersed over their communities and to oppose such programs without consent?
Social Issues and Education
Do you support protecting women’s sports and parental rights, and removing ideological indoctrination from public schools in favor of constitutional literacy?
Crime, Civil Liberties, and Justice
Do you support reforms that protect free speech and due process while opposing the weaponization of federal law enforcement?
Government Accountability and Ethics
Do you support term limits for Congress or voluntary self limitation of power?
Do you support transparent, auditable elections and the right of voters to verify election processes?
State Sovereignty and Federal Overreach
How will you protect state and local control over education, energy, land use, and environmental regulation from federal overreach?
Technology, Finance, and the Future
Do you oppose the politicization of institutions like the Federal Reserve and support American technological leadership without sacrificing national sovereignty or liberty?
Would you support legislation that protects human jobs over ai and robotic take over?
How to Use This List
Ask these questions directly.
Ask them publicly when possible.
Document the answers.
Share what you learn.
Clear answers signal independence.
Scripted answers signal consultants.
Refusal signals control by donors or party machinery.
This questionnaire is intentionally short because real leaders do not need talking points to tell voters what they believe.
If they are truly not a RINO, they should have no problem answering every one of these.
How to Use the Questionnaire
Ask these questions directly and plainly. If a candidate:
dodges
answers with platitudes
attacks you instead of replying
insists they need time to consult advisers
…that is not confidence. That is dependence on party consultants or uniparty funding structures.
Those candidates should be scrutinized.
Grassroots candidates should answer clearly, even if brief, and be willing to explain why they take strong positions instead of avoiding hot issues.

This pledge is a public oath for America First, MAGA, grassroots candidates who want voters to know exactly where they stand and who they stand with. I, the undersigned candidate for public office, voluntarily and knowingly make the following pledge to the voters, donors, and grassroots citizens of my state and of the United States.
I understand that this pledge is a public declaration of principles and intent. I further understand that it is meant to create ongoing accountability between myself and the voters I seek to represent.
This pledge is made freely, without coercion, and with full awareness that it will be publicly recorded, archived, and referenced throughout my candidacy and, if elected, throughout my term in office.
Statement of Principles
I affirm that I am not a Republican In Name Only.
I affirm that I am an America First candidate who places the interests, freedoms, and sovereignty of the American people above political parties, donor classes, foreign interests, corporate lobbying, or globalist institutions.
I affirm that I seek office to serve, not to manage decline, protect power, or enrich myself.
Binding Commitments
By signing this pledge, I commit to the following positions and standards of conduct:
I commit to medical freedom and bodily autonomy, including opposition to mandates for experimental or unsafe medical products.

I acknowledge that accepting money from donors who simultaneously fund opposing political causes creates legitimate concerns and obligates heightened transparency.
