In the market for a film camera?

I’ve been really interested in medium format film lately, which has naturally led to countless conversations with film friends asking for their recommendations, open tabs with research rabbit holes, and shopping carts filled with potential cameras.

I love the grit and grain that comes from 35mm film (primarily what I shoot), but if you’ve been a reader long enough, you probably have learned by now that I like to shake things up every now and again to keep a curious mindset (this is what fuels creativity IMO). I love the creamy, soft look medium format gives— it feels like something new amid the wave of grainy 35mm that’s been going strong online these past few years.
