Why Healing Isn’t a Miracle

Ana Coeur · The Most Triggering Show on Healing

For some, healing means to repair what’s broken or to fix what has gone wrong. Those into self–development may say healing is about reclaiming self–love, turning joyful, or becoming worthy of abundance. Religious followers will say healing is a miracle from god or trickery from the devil. Spiritual seekers will say healing is about ascension, embarking on their soul mission, living from their higher selves, or being connected to the divine. Some will pontificate that healing is never needed because we are already perfect. This is both wrong and not wrong.

If you ask me what real healing is, it has nothing to do with self–development or soul work (whatever that is—why would the soul need work?). The closest definition is to repair what’s broken or to fix what has gone wrong but even that isn’t really it because that’s only addressing or managing the symptoms.

Per my definition, real healing means this: to resolve why anything went wrong in the first place so that the issue never happens again. Some call this finding the root cause. That does get us closer. However, my definition of root cause isn’t what others think it is.

Some people think root cause means our issues are sourced from traumatic events from childhood or having gluten sensitivity or being born an empath who feels too much, for example. To me, those aren’t root causes. Those are symptoms. Everything that you can label or identify is a symptom. Often, I say to people that whatever they think is the root cause isn’t the actual root cause.

The “never happens again” part in my above definition means to cure. It shouldn’t need to be said but the most important aspect of healing is the cure. The spiritual and healing communities, for some reason, have no concept or expectation of what cure means. They are broadcasting everywhere that healing never ends. There’s no cure! There’s no end to suffering!

In contrast, the medical community has no problem defining what a cure is. There is no doubt about its meaning. No surgeon is going to say something is healed when the wounds are still bleeding or reopening over and over.

I don’t look at healing in an abstract, romantic, poetic way. Perhaps I used to when I wasn’t actually healing. But the way I look at healing now is direct and simple, maybe even cold or bland. I don’t talk about the heart, not the soul, not about love. Whenever people bloviate about healing in this way, it is clear to me that they don’t do any.

Because healing is about the cure.

If I told you that healing is about your heart and soul, where would you go look? Exactly what is the address to your soul or the precise location of your emotional heart? Which door is love hiding behind? Supposedly, once you find all this, how do you tease them out? How do you train your brain to live from your heart and soul, plus manage yourself to be positive all the time? No one knows. No one’s actually done it. Not even spiritual masters, gurus, healers, and therapists.

The way I approach healing is logical. I always say that healing has to make sense. Healing makes sense because it isn’t a miracle nor a gift from god. Healing is an exact science like understanding how baking soda and vinegar can clean dirty pots.

If I gave a dirty pot to a spiritual person, they will tell me the pot’s purpose is to be dirty so it can fulfill its soul mission to learn life lessons about feeling accepted even though it’s filthy, and to learn to see filth as love. If I give the dirty pot to one of my students, they will bring it back to me clean. This is the difference.

Often, we hear people say that healing is a gift from god. Does that mean well–being is only meant for the randomly chosen or for those who prayed hard enough? Does this mean health comes from an outside force that is bestowed upon you, and you have nothing to do with it?

In actuality, healing is a technical skill, like training to play sports or a musical instrument or to study foreign languages. If a person invests the time, effort, and energy into learning it, they will know how to heal themselves, just like they could learn how to ride a bicycle or to swim.

Healing makes logical sense and it can be explained and understood. During classes, I map out and explain exactly how healing works and how a person should approach with techniques and strategies. If healing was a miracle, there would be no rhyme or reason to any of the outcomes. We wouldn’t be able to name the steps nor devise the strategies that make healing happen in the way we want.

When students or clients experience a “miracle”, I know what recipe steps went into that “miracle” and therefore, it wasn’t a miracle. In my world, healing is a tested and proven science. If we see healing as a miracle, then it means the healer had nothing to do with it and wasn’t involved in the process. It means another force outside of us is randomly effecting change. It suggests an anomaly or that something happened which shouldn’t have happened.

If healing is a miracle, then it means the cure is not replicable and that only certain people have access to it. This is precisely what spirituality and religion want you to believe—that you are healed only because god/universe want you to be healed, and you won’t be healed if it’s not in THEIR plan.

If god has no plans for you to be healed, it means healing yourself is to disobey god/universe. If you ask me, that sounds like the words of a demon.

If you observe creation, everything does appear to be a miracle because you have no backstage pass to see behind the scenes. But if you shift into being a creator, the creation doesn’t seem as “miraculous”. It took actual work and intelligence. It’s like someone who baked a phenomenally beautiful, seemingly impossible, great–tasting cake. To the eater, wow, it’s an engineering feat! A miracle! To the baker, it was executing a series of steps. It also means experimentation and play are involved. It means learning and trying new things are involved.

Because if healing is a miracle, then why bother learning how to heal? We’d just go watch Netflix or pray and wait for that randomly answered prayer as if we had no part in our well–being. That healing isn’t a miracle means you hold the biggest responsibility to your well–being.

To see healing as a science doesn’t mean we need to reduce awe–inducing phenomena into dry, logical explanations. It is just to see that what defies your expectations of time and logic are standard, are everyday, are common. What we label as miracles means someone took the time and effort to learn how to work with energy. It’s only a miracle if you cannot see behind the scenes, like at a magic show.

What about saints and televangelists who perform healing miracles by touching others? Sometimes, they don’t even need to use their hands. I’ve seen a televangelist slap people with his jacket over and over like whipping a horse. Seekers fall down and become instantly cured or “cured”.

While I haven’t studied the energies of them all, of what I have seen, demonic entities were involved. My opinion is that teams of demonic entities help certain public figures became famous for “miraculous healing.” The entities do this by embedding themselves into the receivers of healing, and the entities are doing to work to create “healing.” Sadly, if we read the energies of those who have received the “healing,” their energies appear troubling.

While writing this piece, I went to check on the energy of a televangelist I know of. They aren’t hosting demons in their energy system—they are the demon itself. Indeed, there are incarnated demons where the full being is demon, not human. If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know how I say that those at the top of the spiritual, healing, and wellness spaces are demons, malevolent ETs, reptilians, and insectoids.

I do teach energy reading to Intermediate students and as they grow in energy sensitivity, they are gaining perception into how bizarre this planet really is. The more insanity that is revealed to us, the more we can rely on true energy healing know–how to keep ourselves healthy, balanced, stable, and strong.
