One of the core delusions of spirituality is that the more advanced you are, the closer you’ll get to god. Every spiritual seeker is trying to be god’s favorite, teacher’s pet, or America’s favorite American Idol. Right now, spiritual seekers are in a competition to see who is the most blissful and highest of them all. It doesn’t matter if it was Buddha or the average new age spiritualist who thinks that a made in China tuning fork will take away all their problems.
Why are spiritual people like this—because they think this belief system will bring them money, love, and power. If it wasn’t about these three things, no one would give AF about spirituality, trust me.
The spiritual are taught to treat their body or mind as if it was a vehicle to paradise. Like Estelle Costanza said about her son George on Seinfeld, “I go out for a quart of milk, I come home, and find my son treating his body like it was an amusement park!”
Seekers start comparing notes about the blissful states they enter into, many of them involving elaborate sequences and fancy–sounding Sanskrit–labeled names. But whatever ecstasy they experience, it doesn’t last. Why is that—because it isn’t real bliss.
Temporary bliss is when a person, for a short moment, mentally steps outside of their psychological mess and experiences an intense flow or joy. That is to say, if their house is full of trash, smells, and has a roach infestation, they’re going to be super happy to mentally check into a five–star hotel.
Seekers equate this five–star hotel as “bliss.” In those moments, it does feel like all their problems came to an end. But for most people, it doesn’t last, because all luxury hotel stays come to an end. Eventually, people return to their default. They gotta mentally go home to their mess.
Spiritual yogis, masters, gurus, and teachers, however, try to make it last. They manipulate and engineer themselves all day long so they never have to face themselves. Sadhguru admitted this by revealing that he presses a number of “buttons” every few hours in order to stay blissful. Well, WTF is that. That’s like saying you married someone and every three hours, you have to slap yourself in the face in order to remember that you are “happy.”
People will go to great lengths to avoid healing, I tell ya.
Real bliss is when a person has few energy boundaries such that they are energetically one with all. Those who haven’t studied real healing with me will protest this because most people think boundaries are what protects them. Let’s be clear: it’s physical boundaries that protects us. Physical boundaries are absolutely necessary to protect ourselves.
But in this article, I’m solely talking about energy boundaries.
Energy boundaries aren’t in our conscious control. If a person is bothering us, attacking us, or triggering us, it’s because the effects are already IN us. If the effects weren’t IN us, we wouldn’t get triggered or be affected AT ALL. Check out my previous article, The Anatomy of a Trigger.
When the effects are already IN us, what good is an energy boundary? That’s like saying a mouse ran inside your house, so you’re going to close the front door. Uh, the mouse already got in, hello. (This is not an accurate analogy for how energy works but I don’t have anything simpler and clearer to present thus far. The actual teaching is reserved for my Intermediate students.)
Our energy boundaries are entirely caused by our level of consciousness—which a person cannot change directly unless he/she is one of my students progressing onto Advanced levels of true healing. Up until then, the level of consciousness can mostly be changed indirectly—via real healing— which I teach to Beginners and Intermediates.
Affirmations do not change our level of consciousness. Thinking positively doesn’t alter it either. These only change your mood for five minutes. Then, you’re back to the way you were before.
So what does this mean—it means real bliss comes from real healing, which causes a different level of consciousness, which causes few energy boundaries, which causes “bliss.” Here is the workflow:
Real healing
↓
Changes the level of consciousness
↓
Which causes fewer energy boundaries
↓
Which causes bliss
Essentially, bliss is a fancy word to say opened.
You can’t be opened and have energy boundaries at the same time. It’s like saying the door is both opened and closed at the same time. It doesn’t work like that.
Spiritual masters aren’t in true bliss. How do we know this? Because real bliss automatically heals.
Well, I have not seen any healed spiritual masters, teachers, gurus, or yogis. NOT EVEN ONE.
In fact, I would go so far as to say that most of them are psychologically messed up.
A person can’t avoid real healing and just push buttons in their energy system all day expecting to be a genuinely happy and healthy person.
Life doesn’t work like that. And I can’t believe I even have to say it.
