Amy Doslich · Amy Doslich - Children's Books

Hi friends,

I wanted to give you a little advance notice so you don’t miss something big (and very free).

Our upcoming Free Kids E-Book Day is shaping up to be our biggest one yet. We’re currently sitting at 182 children’s books confirmed… and honestly, will we make it to 200? Maybe!

Every single one of these books will be free for one day only on February 12, so this is the perfect chance to stock up before spring break. Future you will thank you when you’re traveling and don’t have to pack half your house in kids’ books.

The collection includes:
• Picture books
• Early readers
• Chapter books
• Books for older kids

I’ll be sharing a reminder on the big day, but I wanted to make sure this date was officially on your radar now.

If you have Facebook, you can save the date with this event.

You can also go ahead and check out the current selection of books that will be free here.

With Valentine’s Day coming up, I also wanted to mention my book Little Girls Love Big. It’s a sweet, low-key story about everyday ways kids show love like making cards, sharing hugs, and noticing the people around them.

When you’re looking for a small Valentine’s gift for your kids or grandkids that isn’t candy or clutter, keep this book in mind for their book collection.

You can find it here if you want to take a look:

We have some really fun episodes coming up on Kids Ask Authors Answer:

This Friday, we’re welcoming Tanya Acquista, author of Money Time, a thoughtful book that helps kids think about time management by comparing time to money. It’s such a smart and relatable concept for kids.

• On February 19, we’ll have Asa Biggs joining us. He wrote The Past Pizza Parlor when he was just 12 years old (he’s just a littler older now!), and our read-along for the book was released today. It’s always inspiring for kids to see what other kids are capable of creating.

Both of these authors have a dedicated webpage on our website where there are FREE lesson plans, a read along, fun activities to go along with the book, and more!

Check it out:

Why did the calendar look tired?
Its days were numbered.

Thanks so much for being here. I’m really excited about what’s coming next.

Wishing you a week filled with good books, sweet treats, and lots of laughter!
Amy
