On April 2, M. I. Devine and I put out a call to the Filmstack community and beyond, asking for original and archival footage we could use in the music video for Famous Letter Writer’s new single, Robot Baby.
One Filmstacker contributed (thank you, Victoria Michele Miller). However, we received a bunch of submissions/footage from filmmakers not on Filmstack. Some of these filmmakers are quite accomplished, with movies currently playing in theaters and on the festival circuit. There is even a brief appearance by one of the biggest pop stars in the world… Can you spot her?
There’s an important, revealing lesson here. I’ll leave it to you to decide what that lesson is (though I personally think Donny Broussard nailed it).
