Tarot isn't an object, it's a relationship (I didn't write that with Chat GPT, it's the truth!)

When you engage with tarot, you’re engaging with paper and paint, but also images that have been with humanity for centuries. You’re speaking with your own imagination, and also the collective unconscious of all earthly beings.

  • become skillful in esoteric symbolism (like astrology and alchemy)

  • learn to trust your intuition and inner wisdom

  • develop a reliable way for moving beyond the reality assigned to us by the dominant culture

If tarot is only mildly useful to you, it may be because you haven’t built a strong enough relationship to help you reliably retrieve useful information...yet.

I find it helpful to think of tarot less as an object, and more as a relationship.

We’ll be building skills to recognize when our divinatory messages are useful and to identify clear, helpful calls to action.

Our Tarot Studio gatherings are part of Mystery Cult membership – a gathering space where we practice ritual, seasonal magic, spiritual ecology, and collective care together. Paid subscribers* are invited to join us live on Zoom and receive the replay in the section below.

*We have discounts for those in financial need. Let’s find something that works for both of us. Don’t be shy. To find out more, email us at: guardian@oracleoflosangeles.com
