Help us to help people get access to integrative oncology and give people more options when they face a cancer diagnosis.

This October, I’m doing something I’ve always wanted to do: I am walking the Camino de Santiago.

I’ve had friends describe it to me over the years - the blisters, the silence, the strange way your mind clears after enough hours of just walking and putting one foot in front of the other. I’ve always been curious, but I needed a reason to actually do it rather than just talk about it. Raising money for Yes to Life turned out to be exactly that reason. I want to tell you why this charity, specifically, matters so much to me…

Every single day, I sit with people who have been handed a cancer diagnosis and told, in one way or another, that their options are limited, but there has been…

  • No conversation about metabolic approaches.

  • No space for integrative thinking.

  • No one asking what else might help alongside conventional treatment.

Yes to Life exists to change that.

Yes to Life

They fund complementary and integrative cancer support, they help people access therapies and information that the system doesn’t always make room for, and they do it without an ounce of dogma - just a genuine belief that people deserve more choice and more support when they’re facing the fight of their lives.

PLEASE DONATE AND HELP US HIT OUR £1000 TEAM TARGET

Empowering people is the same paradigm my whole career is built on. So walking for Yes to Life isn’t separate from my work - it’s an extension of it, just done on foot, over hills, in whatever weather the Camino decides to throw at us.

On October 3-9 - I’ll be walking the 75km Vigo to Padròn section of the Camino de Santiago with a small group of friends, all of us first-timers together. I imagine we’ll be tired, we’ll probably argue about pace, and we’ll almost certainly cry at least once, in the way you do when you’re stripped back to just walking, talking, and your own two blistered feet for days at a time.

If you’d like to support the walk, every contribution - large or small - goes directly to Yes to Life and the work they do funding integrative cancer care for people who need it. You can donate here:

And if you simply want to follow along, I’ll be sharing the route, the mishaps, and the reflections as we go.

Thank you, as ever, for being part of this community and for caring about the kind of world we’re trying to build — one where people facing cancer get real choices, real support, and real hope.

See you on the road and from the bottom of our hearts.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING US

We will be sharing photos and updates from the walk every couple of days in October….
