I’m not shocked by the unmasking of power abuse happening around us today. Probably because I began meeting with lawmakers in my 20s, trying to impact health care policy, and it disillusioned me completely.

Disillusionment is a gutting end to life inside of a reality that was never real. It’s also the beginning.

A starting point with nothing to anchor back into, except your own pulse, spiraling out from your heart’s moral compass.

Don’t underestimate that pulse.

It gives you your Yes’s and No’s in a voice more clear than any sound in the external.

You know the way without having to know it all.

You can feel your No when you’re amidst old world power-energy (even if it’s illusioning in a new-world costume).

Your Yes is in the power that doesn’t seduce.

The pulse that spirals through your veins and mobilizes you into a kind of service that doesn’t crave being seen.

There is a freedom in your edges, where your old patterns don’t reach. Run to them.

Here, you originate. Orginally.

Where you go, and how you’ll serve, cannot be defined … because it’s never been done before, and it doesn’t fit inside a pre-existing framework.

Amanda is a Clinical Mind-Body Therapist, Trauma Specialist helping people who struggled in years of unsuccessful therapy finally break through.

She learned from the world’s leading psych experts in Dr. Bessel van der Kolk’s Traumatic Stress Studies program, and has trained internationally with an award winning mind-body scientist.
