I took over the role in 24 hours

Once upon a time, I had to take over the role of Hysterium in A Funny Thing Happened on The Way To The Forum with 24 hour notice.

It was hard. Really hard. There are a lot of songs with a lot of words, and to be honest, I made up a lot of words that first night in those songs, but the audience applauded anyway and the cast was wonderful.

Also, the original actor was 6’4, and I’m 5’5, so the costumer had to turn the costumes inside out on me and create new seams so they would fit, while I was learning lines, songs, blocking, and props.
