I’m still marinating on this week’s episode/coming down from the Oscars, but here’s what I’m thinking.

Best Bad Decisions

Mistake #1 — Rick Going Nana Mode

Seeing Rick lose his shit on synthetic gas station weed was nostalgic for millennials everywhere. The snake thing was bad, but I’m also wondering why he waited so long to venture out for a j in the first place? It seems he lacks the motivation of a true pothead—but it makes sense that Chelsea ranting about astrology is what sent him over the edge. Straight men HATE learning about themselves!

I doubt she’ll let him out of her sight for long after this little stunt, so he can either kiss Bangkok goodbye or GROW UP and finally tell her what’s going on! I’m honestly ready for them to go full Bonnie and Clyde. I mean she got bit by a snake and is still down bad for God’s sake. Open up to your Aries queen, Rick!

Mistake #2 — Belinda’s Dedication to Being Delulu

Anyone working in the service industry learns pretty quickly that most rich people are full of shit.

This happened to me when I was bartending, and a regular offered me an administrative position at his law firm. I was ready to be on my Megan Markle Suits bullshit! To my surprise, the official offer letter listed ‘regular spankings’ as part of the job duties. Hey, at least he got his expectations in writing?? Let’s just say I didn’t get my hopes up with people after that.

Oversharing aside—Belinda’s been burned by customer promises before, but the idea that Tanya was going to fully finance her spa? Red flag. Her walking away with an envelope full of cash and still not being over it? Come on. And now, believing there are no dark secrets bubbling beneath the surface at the Thai White Lotus? WAKE UP!

And not that any normal person could know that Greg/Gary is a con-artist, but cornering him like that? You’re in danger, girl! And I’m not sure she’s savvy enough to get out of it. Keep on believing the best in people, Belinda.

Mistake #3 — Tim Treating his Anxiety Like Me in College

Double dosing in one day? Rookie mistake. RIP to Victoria’s stash.

Mistake #4 — Kate Being a Mega-Church Member

I just know this frame is going to make ROUNDS next holiday season.

Style Moments to Note

Nothing really jumped out to me besides Piper dressing like a pioneer to visit the monastery (again) and Chelsea’s fun fit perfectly reinforcing her heart-on-her-sleeve personality.
