To briefly summarize, what I find most interesting is not the attempt itself, but the fact that the perpetrator had a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Science. A guy like that is rarely the type of clinically insane Leftist to pop off. His profile fits the Kaczynski profile much better. Which means that this is no longer an “insane leftist lunatics” problem and is becoming a “how many unemployed chemists can your civilization afford?” problem.
(and yes, I do assume you’ll watch it at 1.5x or 2x speed)
