Haberdashery is such a great word. I wanted to use it in today’s letter somehow, but realized there is nowhere it would make sense. My life’s goal is to now find a way to use it. I believe in me.
Anyway, hi! Good morning! Happy Monday! How’s everyone doing? I’m sitting in a quiet house with a cup of coffee, ready to overshare my spending habits with those of you who choose to support my writing with cash money. Last week’s spending was slightly above the norm because I *actually* let myself buy a few “fun” things for the first time in a very long time.
Also, I’ve decided that in addition to sharing each week’s Grand Total with you at the end of these installments, I’m also going to share a collective Amazon total and Grocery total so we can all study my spending a bit harder.
That said, let’s follow the money from last week and see where it goes…
MONDAY
Started the week off very strong with not one dime dropped last Monday. I was in a tizzy anyway because it was Rhodes’ first day at daycare (he’s going just three days a week to the same school as Ziggy 🥹), so I stayed home all day doing housework to keep my mind occupied while I checked the daycare app no more than 53 times every hour.
