Ram Dass said,
“We’re sitting under the tree of our thinking minds, wondering why we’re not getting any sunshine!”
Monday, we worry.
Friday, we celebrate.
And Tuesday?
Tuesday is just Tuesday.
It’s the night we watch the news, read a little, go to bed.
We’re not sad on Tuesdays.
We’re waiting.
For Friday. For the trip. For the good part.
But think about it.
The good parts happens a dozen days a year.
But Tuesdays are most of your life.
And they are passing right now, this week, unfelt.
Not because they are empty.
Because we don’t look at them.
That is the tree Ram Dass meant.
The sunshine is falling on the tree Tuesday too.
And this matters more than it sounds.
A life spent waiting for the good parts
turns out to be made of the parts we skipped!
You don’t the get the Tuesdays back.
There is no refund.
But you can stop losing them.
