It’s been a long 2 years.

I am happy to announce that as of today, the new shop is fully up and running. Early September 2023 I started physically building the house and the barn my shop is in. I got the heat wired in and working today, which was the last thing to do for the shop. It’s on the low 30’s at night and a bit cold to work in here full time. During last week’s class it was in the 60’s during the day so it worked fine, but now with high’s in the 40’s heat is needed.

I have a few thing to finish down stairs on the ground floor, but that is progressing pretty fast. the main level is bikes, ski’s, tools, building materials etc. What you expect to find. it’s been wired and the vapor retarder is going up and the wood walls are going in. just a few days of work left.

Now that I have a sense of completion I am tired. very tired. I need a vacation. Next week I am in New York city for a couple days to visit friends and see Neko play at the Beacon Theater. I have not been to the city since before starting the house.

Other updates; my phone scheduling app is having a few issues that I need to sort out. It stopped loading calls into my calendar. so ,if i missed a call I will reschedule.

My zoning meeting was cancelled last week due to the zoom link not working. it is another three weeks to hold another meeting, so I asked for just a permit for home business, not “light Industry”, which they said they would give me. this is all for my neighbors who think i have a factory with employees and a retail store. they are just miserable people. they came to the meeting looking like they could chew rocks and brought their attorney along. it was really hilarious to watch them get so bent out of shape over my business. They survaile my Right of Way with game cameras to see who is coming up to my land/house. I wish they would get a life. they live almost 1/2 mile away.

Higgs Boson ski pack preorder.

I will be doing another run of Higgs Boson ski packs for this winter. if you want one please place a deposit. these will be shipping of of November.

There are two changes for this year: the inside zip pocket is now on the front of the pack, which i have done for special orders in the past. Second, there is now a shovel blade sleeve inside the pack, in the past the blade just went in the pack but my good friend Craig is Salida, CO needed more organization and I agree with him.
