Monday Memo: The Tibi Sale Continues

As of this writing, we are still waiting on Spring to be added to sale - maybe this week? The only real update since my last sale coverage is that some shoes have been added. That said, I have given what feels like 1000 hours of my life to the current inventory (mortifying) so there is always more to say.

Let’s review where things stand:

At the moment, my top two picks among sale shoes are available in most sizes so let’s talk about them. I am interested in the Cozy Rudolph Flat in any of the three colors. I will probably get the dusty green at some point if they stay in stock because I don’t have any other shoes in that color. At the moment, plenty of sizes remain across the board. I have both a black and brown pair of the (sold out) past season Rudolph (both purchased via resale, and options seem to pop up frequently) so I know that I like this style. I wear them most often with maxi skirts and I just love the soft leather, pointy toe, and overall point of view. 100% recommend!

The Jean-Claude flats (don’t you wonder who these are named for??) are also on my wishlist. Again in the dusty green.

Loooooove! That said, I have read that the ankle strap is coming up short/tight for some who have purchased these so buyer beware since this is a Final Sale item. I think this is a pair on TRR.

Meanwhile, I was influenced (as always) by Style Class last week to consider the following items with plenty of sizes still in stock.

Sloane in the Tech Gingham set - how did I forget about these pieces?! So cute.

Jacket + Skirt. I was at a backyard party this weekend and a very chic woman ran into the house for an extra layer when it turned chilly, and her extra layer was a Tibi track jacket. I was like, why on earth don’t I have a Tibi track jacket?

Stella in the Compact Ultra Knit Dress - SLAY!!!!!!!

I am generally wary of Tibi “compact knit” items as they are less forgiving, but this dress looks stunning on Stella and I think it’s about getting the sizing right. I have my third backyard party of the season tonight at my boss’s house and I wish I were going to be wearing this!

Keturah in the silk ply cocoon dress - this is really beautiful.

At $687 on sale, this is still a Big Purchase. Maybe one to keep watching for further sale? There is an orange one from a previous season that I’m always stalking on resale…

This screen grab from Keturah reminded me to reconsider the Metallic Winslow Pants. I mean, can you even with this outfit?

I have all of the components of this look in my closet and you probably do too - I just need the pants. And this is how they get you.

• Tibi Dwayne Sandals - love these! - here is a pair on Poshmark.

• alas euis white pleated skirt - a good alt to the (nearly sold out and much more expensive) Tibi pleated skirt

• Uniqlo tank - a perfect layering piece, and the price is right.

• Vintage Raymond Weil watch - so very Upper East side in the 90’s (in my mind). Here is one on TRR.
