Pinterest’s New AI tools For the Discovery Era
As AI changes how people search, browse, and make decisions, the industry is moving beyond the traditional search-and-click model toward a more conversational and generative web. In this new environment, brands are competing not just for attention, but for recommendation, relevance and action.
Ahead of Cannes Lions, we are introducing new AI-powered tools built for this shift, including Business Assistant, Pinterest Model Context Protocol (MCP) and new Pinterest Performance+ creative capabilities.
We’re also rolling out Ask Pinterest, a limited access app that will allow us to experiment with the next generation of AI-powered shopping experiences and learn quickly from our users.
“The future of discovery won’t be driven by keywords alone. It will be shaped by context, taste, and trusted recommendations,” said Lee Brown, Chief Business Officer, Pinterest. “Pinterest has a unique advantage because people come to our platform to plan, curate and take action on what they want to do next. We’re building AI experiences and infrastructure that tap into those signals in more useful and relevant ways.”
L’Oréal and OpenAI join forces for Transformation in Beauty with AI
L’Oréal, the world’s leading beauty company, and OpenAI, the AI research and deployment company and creator of ChatGPT, the widely used AI platform with more than 900 million weekly users, today announced at VivaTech 2026 a landmark collaboration, marking a defining moment in beauty’s transformation in the age of AI.
Structured around two priority domains: AI-powered consumer journeys towards agentic commerce and AI-powered métiers from research and science to marketing, the collaboration marks a significant step in L’Oréal’s Transformative AI roadmap, with OpenAI as a foundational partner.
AI-powered consumer journeys and AI-native commerce:
Maybelline New York will bring Makeup Virtual Try-On directly to ChatGPT, powered by L’Oréal’s ModiFace technology, pioneering a new way for consumers to discover and try makeup looks in real time through AI-powered conversation.
L’Oréal will work with OpenAI to strengthen L’Oréal product discovery within ChatGPT in USA with enhanced signals, for brands from Lancôme to Kérastase.
SkinCeuticals, CeraVe and Garnier are part of the global ChatGPT ad pilot pioneering AI-native advertising at the moment of consumer intent and commerce.
AI-powered métiers from research and science to marketing:
Using GPT-Rosalind, OpenAI’s purpose-built life sciences reasoning model, L’Oréal is mapping the skin microbiome, home to millions of beneficial microbes, at unprecedented scale, identifying beneficial bacteria to accelerate the development of the next generation of natural, effective skincare, starting with La Roche-Posay.
OpenAI’s latest model will also power CreAItech, L’Oréal’s in-house GenAI beauty content platform, capable of creating imagery and video with brand heritage, augmenting human creativity.
Stitch Fix Expands Vision AI Platform With On-Demand “See It on Me” Feature
Stitch Fix, the leading online personal styling service, today announced that it is expanding Stitch Fix Vision, its AI style visualization platform. Now, clients can generate personalized images of themselves in recommended outfits, giving them more control over how they discover and visualize new looks.
“Personalization has always been at the heart of the Stitch Fix experience, and we’re building toward a future where clients can see themselves reflected throughout every step of their shopping journey,” said Matt Baer, CEO, Stitch Fix.
In October 2025, the company launched Stitch Fix Vision, which provides personalized images of clients in curated outfits tailored to their style profile and the latest trends. Vision shows clients their likeness in a variety of styles and settings, and proactively delivers a weekly drop of new looks and outfit ideas.
Through Vision, Stitch Fix clients can now create images of themselves in recommended looks. The feature is available throughout the Stitch Fix Freestyle experience, wherever outfit recommendations appear. To use it, clients simply navigate to their outfit of choice and select “See it on me.”
“Personalization has always been at the heart of the Stitch Fix experience, and we’re building toward a future where clients can see themselves reflected throughout every step of their shopping journey,” said Matt Baer, CEO, Stitch Fix. “Vision helps bring this future to life by combining our deep understanding of each client’s preferences with AI to offer personalized style inspiration. As we expand Vision, we’re making it easier for clients to discover new styles they’ll love, as well as find more ways to wear the pieces they already own.”
Clients can access Vision by uploading a selfie through the Stitch Fix app. Once uploaded, they’ll receive their first set of personalized images. All images, including new “See it on me” results, are saved in each client’s Vision gallery, creating a personalized library of style inspiration.

A Prada x Gentle Monster Collab is Coming
By Raoul Borioni
Prada announced its collaboration with Gentle Monster, the Korean eyewear brand that has made creativity and its interpretation of contemporary trends its defining signature. A partnership that may well have all the ingredients to become the collaboration of the century. Inspired by Prada's sophisticated aesthetic and Gentle Monster's experimental vision, the campaign stars Prada ambassador Kentaro Sakaguchi. The collection is already available to preview online and will be available for a limited time in Japan, South Korea and China.
At a time when the eyewear industry is undergoing a profound transformation, just think of the increasingly prominent role of technology in fashion through projects such as the collaboration between Luxottica and Meta, the partnership between Prada and Gentle Monster represents a different kind of evolution. It is not only about technological innovation, but also about building a shared cultural imagination. On one side is Prada, arguably the Italian fashion house that has gone further than any other in expanding its universe beyond products, creating over the years a cultural ecosystem shaped by art, cinema, architecture and research. It is no coincidence that the group continues to invest in the Asian market, not only through retail but also through cultural projects capable of engaging with local communities.
