I’m trying to hone in what social media platforms I actually want to engage with. What do you use most often? For me, it’s usually Facebook and YouTube. I think readers are most commonly on Instagram as well. From here, I think I will concentrate on those three platforms.

A little over a week ago we had a horrific ice storm come through the south. Our local meteorologist had some downright terrifying predictions and thankfully it wasn’t as bad as he thought it would be.
We were so blessed to not lose power, though we were trapped by the ice on the road for a few days. Over 40,000 people across South Carolina lost power, though. Tennessee, Nashville to be specific - where our daughter is at school - was hit especially hard. Thankfully she was safe and well cared for by her school and she made some wonderful memories with her friends. Our poor son in Virginia was told he had to shovel snow instead of playing in it, but I have no doubt he found a way to throw a snowball or two.
I hope you and your family were and still are safe and warm with minimal damage!
