I think I’ve already told you about my project of learning Arabic. But I have to admit—I haven’t been very successful yet. 😅 Not because it’s too hard, but simply because I’ve had so much on my plate these past few months: I got sick 🤒, I launched new groups, and, more importantly, I’ve had tons of private classes. 📚 This left me with no time for English or Arabic… But oh wait—didn’t I once say that we always have the time, but we just have to prioritize? 🤔
Well, I still stand by that, but I’m also human. 🫶 Of course, sometimes we have to listen to our body and take a break. I also recently said that even 5 minutes of practice a day can make a difference—as long as it’s every day. 🕒
So, I’ve created a checklist to stay on track with my Arabic and English learning, no matter how busy I get. 📝 Here it is:
🔵 Every Day:
🎤 Make a video of myself singing an English song.
🔵 Monday:
✍️ Practice writing at least one Arabic letter.
📱 Practice the alphabet with an app.
🔵 Tuesday:
🗣️ Memorize a small dialogue to introduce myself.
📱 Practice the alphabet with an app.
🔵 Wednesday:
🔄 Review the dialogue from the previous day.
✍️ Practice writing at least one Arabic letter.
🔵 Thursday:
✍️ Practice writing at least one Arabic letter.
📱 Practice the alphabet with an app.
🎶 Find an Arabic song I like and try to repeat the chorus.
🔵 Friday:
🔄 Review the dialogue and practice reading my first words.
🌟 Show my Egyptian student what I’ve learned this week.
🔵 Saturday:
🎧 Listen to the Arabic song I chose and repeat it.
As you can see, my first steps are quite repetitive, but that’s intentional—repetition is the key to practice and memorization. 🧠✨
In the next newsletter, I’ll share how I did and the techniques that helped me stay consistent. 💪
See you soon! 🌟✍️
