A lot of students come to me saying, "I just can’t memorize anything by heart!" 😩 For some, the minute they learn a sentence, they forget it the next. Others struggle with long sentences, find it boring, or just feel like everything disappears the next day.
And you know what? I completely understand! I hate learning by heart without context. I sometimes struggle with dialogues too. But what if I told you that these are just excuses? 🤯
Think about it—your mom has probably told you before: "You can’t remember your school lessons, but you sure can remember song lyrics!" 🎶 And she’s right! Or maybe you can recall a funny joke effortlessly? Or a childhood memory?
The secret? These things are linked to positive emotions, fun, and engagement! 😃
One of my favorite methods is learning dialogues together. Yes, I can speak English, but even I need a little memory boost sometimes! 😆 So, we turn it into a real-life scene:
👉 You’re the steward, I’m the client.
👉 We memorize the first 4 sentences, then we act it out! 🎭
👉 I create props—a paper passport, a boarding pass, even a suitcase (my bag! 😂).
👉 We move around, using the table as a front desk, and suddenly, it feels real!
🎵 Use rhythm: Count "1, 2, 3, 4"—now replace the numbers with words!
🎤 Sing it: If music helps you, make it a song!
Sure, I can’t set up a full physical scene, but we still make it interactive! 🎥

✅ Hand your “passport” to the camera ✈️
✅ Use gestures to make it feel real

📱 Record yourself ordering at the bakery 🥐
🎙️ Send me a WhatsApp voice message practicing a dialogue
☕ Meet a classmate in your city and practice over coffee
